The TRU MBA will also be an excellent pick for International students who want to come to North America to earn a graduate degree in hopes of taking this knowledge of North American business practices and culture back to their home countries or possibly using the degree as an avenue to eventually immigrate to Canada or the U.S. TRU currently has a large contingent of International students at the undergraduate level and a very helpful international education department called TRU World, so International students should feel very welcome.
Why the TRU MBA?
The TRU MBA is designed to produce managers of the highest calibre who in addition to having a superior knowledge of the current business curriculum and excellent business research and consulting skills, posses strong critical thinking, business communication, and leadership abilities, and can work effectively in teams.
Courses will be taught with a strong international focus and emphasis will be placed on applications of technology in business. This program will also make considerable use of the case approach along with business simulations, company visits, guest speakers, and consulting projects to further develop the students' skills.

Program Objectives
The TRU MBA serves as a capstone educational program for current and future managers regardless of whether they have acquired their business educaiton to-date through an undergraduate degree in business, a minor in management in a non-business degree, or a pre-MBA program.Modern Facilities
TRU has completed the new International Building, which houses the School of Business and Economics and the MBA program. This facility has a number of large tiered lecture theatres with full audio-visual support suitable for the case approach along with two 30-seat computer labs, and a number of smaller "breakout" rooms for group work. The building is equipped with a wireless network to support the use of laptop computers.
A new residence building has just been constructed within a short walk from the International Building and food services. This facility provides students with access to safe, modern accommodations at an affordable price.
If you like to stay in shape, TRU also has a modern weight room, a gymnasium including racquetball courts, and a number of sports fields that are available to students along with a modern aquatic centre featuring an Olympic-sized pool.
