
Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the TRU MBA, students must meet the following:
1. Education Requirement - Acceptable 3 or 4-year undergraduate degree in any discipline with a minimum B- average (GPA of 2.67 on a scale of 4.0) in the last 60 credits; and completion of the 12 TRU MBA Qualifying Courses or their approved equivalencies with a minimum B- (GPA of 2.67 on a scale of 4.0) in each course;
2. GMAT - Minimum score of 500 within the last five years; and
3. Language Requirement - For applicants who did not complete their undergraduate degree in an English speaking country, a minimum TOEFL score of 570 with a TWE of 4.5 or higher (paper-based test) or 230 with an Essay of 4.5 or higher (computer-based test); or IELTS of at least 6.5 with no bands below 6.0; or CAEL of at least 70 with no subtest below 60; or completion of TRU ESL Level V.
This program is targeted at recent
university graduates with minimal or no formal work experience.
Applicants with GMAT scores of less than 500 will not be admitted
to the program, but are encouraged to re-take the test.
The MBA Committee will attempt to maintain an equal balance between domestic and International students to give both groups an exposure to each others' languages and cultures.
Applying for Admission
Students who meet the Admission Requirements are accepted into the TRU MBA on a first-come, first-serve basis. To apply to the TRU MBA, students must:

- Cover letter outlining the applicant's career plans
- Personal resume
- Official copy of educational transcripts for all post-secondary education in your native language and a certified copy in English if different.
- Non-Refundable Application Fee: Canadian Students $25 (C$) or International Students $100 (C$)

Instruct Educational Testing Service to send a copy of your GMAT results to TRU (Code No. 73S-FF-077)

Instruct Graduate Management Admission Council to send a copy of your TOEFL results, if applicable, to TRU (Institutional No. 8989) if applicable

Successful applicants will receive a Letter of Acceptance. A
conditional letter of acceptance will be issued if an applicant has
not yet finished their first undergraduate degree, is waiting to
write the GMAT, TOEFL, IELTS, or CAEL, or is in progress of
completing TRU CESL Level V.
International students can apply for a Study Permit once they
receive one of these letters, which will also contain information
concerning fee payment and other aspects of the program.
Students who choose to e-mail their TRU Application Package must attach the electronic files containing all the required documentation. Official transcripts should be scanned and attached. For applications that are faxed or e-mailed, official transcripts will be required if the applicant is accepted into the program.
It is preferable that the non-refundable TRU MBA Application Fee of $25 (C$) for Canadian Students or $100 (C$) for International Students be paid for by credit card if the applicant is faxing or emailing their application. If the applicants choose to pay by other methods, as outlined in the TRU MBA Application Form, then the required financial documentation must be sent through the mail or courier.
